I have a question to ask you...

Hello everyone.

Sorry for not writing on here in a while. Well it's been months I'm guessing that I've last posted, so sorry. I've been distracted with other things lately. Silly me, getting distracted a lot. Really should stop that.

Seeing a dancing pencil, I'm distracted.

Old man riding a unicorn down a hill through fired rings...well you get the point.

Anyway. I wanted to ask you guys something. This is about novel writing, so if any of you are in the process of writing a novel, or editing or whatever. And you've heard of some really good agents and publishers to talk to about getting you book published. Could you leave a comment on this entry telling me?

I've been going through all these sites about publishing. And first time about it and all of that. But the only problem...they are so dang expensive!

I know, I know. Almost all the publishing sites are expensive and you should expect to pay a lot of money to get your book published. Well I just want a site where I can publish my book that isn't as expensive. But, yes I realize that I will have to pay either way.

My grandma saw in the newspaper about 'Authors Needed'! And it was this contest where you send in your novel and try and get it won first place. So I went to the site and it said 'Site not found' or something like that. So apparently the site doesn't exsist or something happened. Maybe they misspelled something in the site name? Who knows.

So yeah, if any of you guys out there knows a good publishing place I could try out. Please let me know.

Story ideas!

So yes I realize I haven't posted anything in a while. But truthfully I had no idea what to write about. HaHa! :)

Lately I have been writing, and reading. Mostly Nicholas Sparks. I love his work, just reading one chapter of his book and you automatically get sucked in right away! I love it, seriously I wish more authors were like that. Just be able to pull the reader in right off bat and you just can't put the book down. I love books like that.

The Body Finder, and Kissed By An Angel for example. Once I started reading those books I couldn't put them down for a second. I had to know what happened next. Kissed By An Angel is the book that got me in love with reading about angels. Yes, I love reading about angels. They are so interesting to read about. Seriously I just might add an angel...OH MY GOSH I JUST THOUGHT OF A GREAT IDEA FOR ADDING AN ANGEL TO MY SERIES!

Trust me. This idea that I thought of involves drama, love, true loses, and so much more. Holy crap I can't believe this idea came to me. It'll be the perfect way to set all the answers to the questions I snuck in there in the books out there. Perfect.

Anyway. So where was I before I randomly got off track?
Oh yeah, I was just going to say that The Body Finder I couldn't put down. It was amazing, one of my favorites now. And completely a must read more than once book!

Today my best friend and I decided to write a book together. We are going to do it like she write one chapter, and then I write the next. So we switch back and fourth like that. I personally think it'll end up great! Like a P.C & Kristen Cast thing. Two people writing the series togeter. And what better than having two best friens writing the book together? :)

Knowing Something

So this past week I've been asking friends and family to read my first book that I'm trying to get published. Asking what the best publishing sites, and places are. Every one is coming with differnt answers, so I'm looking through each place for the PERFECT place to publish. I know there really isn't such a thing as 'perfect' but at least something very similiar.

While I've been doing that, I also thought of another idea for a single book. This one however has a lot of things that I've gone through in life, my friends have gone through, ect. And truthfully, I honestly think that's what makes a book better. Writing about something in your book/story that you've gone through. That way you don't have to think hard to describe something, it just comes naturally because you've felt it before.

So this is probably the end of this post. I'll post more later, in the mean time. Have a great day/night/morning! :)

You're The One

Author Note: This is part of my book I am working on. Well actually more of the sequel to the first book. So tell me what you think of this first part of the story. (Hint: The Feeling when mentioned in the story is kind of like imprinting in other words. However I thought about changing the name to make it sound different. Though The Feeling is a little more different than imprinting. ENJOY!

The next morning Savannah woke in her hospital bed with a terrible headache. She couldn’t remember anything about the whole night that came and went. All she could remember was Logan, and nothing else, but then why does she have a feeling that she should know something about him? Why does she have this strange random headache as she awoke with the sun going through the curtained up windows from across the room at her. Something about someone was banging its way into her head, but whom? They were familiar, she knew that. She also knew they were important to her, that she loved them. But if you love someone, wouldn’t you remember them right off bat?
As she continued to think these thoughts through in her head, a knock came from the door. Thanks to her headache it sounded louder than it should be. Putting her hand on her forehead as the door opened slowly, her eyes were sealed shut as she tried to get her mind cleared. Then a familiar voice came in the room. However at the same time, it wasn’t so familiar. Savannah knew though that they were someone she loved more than anything.
“Savannah, are you feeling any better?” She couldn’t get her voice to come as her eyes stayed sealed tight together. Whoever was in the room must know what is wrong with her. The Feeling was telling her that, but the only problem with The Feeling was that it never gave you a specific answer! They tried asking her the same question again, though still she didn’t reply. Her head pounded harder than it did before, as if whatever was wrong with her was building up bigger inside. As he walked over to her, she could hear his footsteps coming over. Feeling his warm hand touch her shoulder, she squeezed her eyes shut. Refusing to look up at him.
OPEN YOUR EYES SAVANNAH! OPEN. YOUR. EYES. The Feeling screamed the words in her mind as she disobeyed the order. It wasn’t her fault, but felt as though someone was controlling her every movement. It was as if they didn’t want her to look up at them, but she knew exactly who the person was that was in the room with her. The answer couldn’t take a genius with it’s eyes closed to guess that, once you know your true love, you always knew when they are near. But then why does another thought have to come in her head as she thought those words? Something telling her to remember someone else. Another guy that is also just as important. But who?
“Savannah, look at me. Please.” This time she could hear his begging. Savannah tried once again to open her eyes, but they remained shut. What was wrong with her, is someone really trying to control her? Without opening her eyes words starting to come out in a rush. Even if they did sound sketchy once they reached her mouth.
“What’s, happening?”
“You don’t remember anything?” He asked, voice soft but still ordering her to keep talking.
“I, no.”
“Savannah I’m going to help you remember everything you need to know. Okay?”
“Okay.” She said back, eyes still closed tightly. Without another word she felt his lips on hers. Sparks began to fly as he let go of her lips, it only lasted for a second. Although to her, it felt like forever has just gone by in a blink of an eye.
At that moment she finally got enough strength to open her eyes. It took only a short second to adjust to the lighting and everything around her. Which wasn’t really necessary considering all she noticed was him looking back at her, a smile curling up on his lips as she smiled back. Something else was missing from her mind all of a sudden, something important. Savannah couldn’t figure out what it was, and at the same time she didn’t seem to care either. All she cares about was him and what happened the night before that got her here today.

Drip, Drop, Drip (You)

Drip, drop, drip,
Splashes of rain come down again,
Drip, drop, drip,
Splashes of pain break my heart in two,
Drip, drop, drip,
Splashes of pictures of you come in my mind,

I hate this feeling,
Thinking I’m over you every time your not around,
I hate this feeling,
Thinking you just might like me that day,
I hate this feeling,
Thinking everything between us might turn around,

Drip, drop, drip,
Splashes continue to fall,
Shattering the pain, making it burn deeper,
Shattering every memory of you deeper in my mind,
Splashes continue to come,
Splashing every pain like a knife shoved in your chest,
Splashing every part of my body leaving bruises,

I hate this feeling,
Sometimes I wonder why I even met you,
Why I thought you’d like me back,
Why I had to like you so much,
I hate this feeling,
Why couldn’t I have fallen like this over someone else,
Maybe it would have hurt less to get over them, then you,

Though, maybe it wouldn’t,
Maybe it would hurt just as much,
Maybe it would hurt just the same amount if it were someone else,
Maybe I was lucky to have fallen for you,
Maybe God really wanted me to fall for you,
Maybe you were suppose to be the first one I ever truly liked,
Maybe, just maybe,

Drip, drop, drip,
The rain continues to fall,
I’m drowning in this sorrow,
Drip, drop, drip,
I can’t seem to find an opening to get out,
Drip, drop, drip,
I don’t know where to go from here…

July 4th

Hello everyone!

I know I've mentioned that most of my posts are going to be first/half chapters of my stories. But I thought about also posting things like, stuff for the holidays. Such as...July 4th! Independence Day! :)

The biggest event that happens on this day is seeing fireworks. It's a wonderful site to see! Just watching the fireworks come shooting up to the sky is like a 3D movie, only your actually there. My personal favorite part is getting the chance to feel the fireworks shooting out, like it's matching the beat of your heart.

Another amazing thing about this day is spending time with family, and friends. Basically in other words hanging around people you love and care about.

Taking pictures is one thing I love doing for the holidays. Just looking back on the memories through pictures, and you remember the feeling you've had while being there a while back ago. I don't know, I can't explain it. All I can say about that is that it's a great feeling to have. Things that are so difficult to discribe in words, I don't know, makes it better (if that makes any sense). Just knowing that something is better than words discribed is a great feeling. I love it!

In Your Heart

Chapter 1: A Secret Untold

“Savannah are you awake?” Savannah’s best friend Hope called from downstairs to her as she groaned turning on her other side in bed. It was Saturday, and one o’clock in the evening. Today was finally the day her best friend has been waiting for, and that was the annual class fieldtrip with their school. As Savannah threw her pink and white pillow over her head Hope threw open the door yelling a second time,

“Come on Savannah!” grabbing the pillow from her head throwing it to the floor. Still she wouldn’t get up as she laid there in her bed tiredly, hearing the sound of Hope’s foot stomping on the ground with her hands on hips as she looked down at her. Savannah didn’t even have to look to know that’s what she was doing, they’ve been friends for six years and know practically everything about each other.

“If you don’t get up in three seconds, I’m knocking you off this bed on the floor myself. Don’t pretend I wouldn’t do that you know I would.” She spoke as Savannah heard her footsteps come closer to the bed and grabbing the edges of her sheets, before even making a tug as Savannah hurled herself to a sitting position in a surrender pose.

“I‘m up, I‘m up!” Hope started laughing as Savannah smoothed out her wild wavy brown bed head of hair.

“Well,” Hope started when she finally finished her laughter “,now that I got you up I’ll be waiting out in the kitchen and your bags are in my parents car,” turning to walk out the door. But as she was about to leave Savannah to change and everything she opened the door and turned back around saying “,although if you fall back asleep I’m just going to leave you here while I go to Arizona.” and after that she disappeared through the closed door. Yawning quietly Savannah walked over to her closet grabbing a pair of her favorite long denim jeans, and light blue t-shirt along with her pink and purple converse shoes, she walked into the bathroom.

Five minutes later as Savannah finished getting dressed, brushing her teeth then running the comb through her wild hair a few times. Finally her hair looked normal and not like she had just woke up or anything. Smiling in the mirror walking out of the bathroom back to her room over to the little dresser with her clock, and phone charging together. Grabbing the phone checking the time. Still got twenty minutes until they’ve got to be to the school to go. Hope called out to her once more to hurry up from the kitchen as Savannah smiled letting a little giggle escape her lips stuffing her phone in her pocket and walking out to join the others. Seeing Hope with her hair straightened, black shirt that had one of her favorite vampires on the cover. No surprise from how much in love with them she was, long blue jeans, and purple converse shoes. Hope’s parents were waiting outside in the car as Savannah walked over to give her mother a quick hug who was sitting across from Hope at the kitchen table smiling up at Savannah as she pulled away. Before Savannah could tell Hope something, she was already out the door to the car, rolling her eyes at her friend as she said bye to everyone and out the door.

“Savannah, Hope! Over here!” Damien called from the school gym once he spotted them walk in. Damien was there other close friend, Savannah doesn’t really know him as much as Hope does. But she’s at least known him for four years and gotten to be close good friends, he’s really one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet. And from Savannah’s point of view also kind of cute with his longish blonde hair that went down past his ears and stop, super skinny jeans he always wears, with a yellow t-shirt. But mostly what made Savannah think he was cute was his incredible blue eyes, with the way he looks at someone no matter who it is he would give them his full attention when they were talking or saying something to him.

“Oh Damien I never got to ask, who are you rooming with for the trip?” Savannah heard her voice blurt out as he looked at her making eye contact.

“Chase Orlando, that new French transfer student that just got here three months ago.”

“I didn’t think he was coming on the trip?” Hope asked joining into the conversation as more people filed into the gym setting their stuff down. Savannah made sure her bags and Hope’s were right next to Damien’s like they were before. Hearing a teacher speak as everyone dropped silent. Savannah turned around to see who it was, Mrs. Brown the school principal was standing in front of the gym doors as everyone looked to her. Mrs. Brown’s started to speak as Damien tapped Savannah on the shoulder lightly as she turned around to look at him, whispering in her ear he said,

“I need to tell you something soon, okay?” leaning back a little so he could see her face as she nodded and he smiled shyly back. Savannah almost got lost in his incredible blue eyes when suddenly Hope nudged both of them out of it as she said,

“Come on guys everyone is heading with their bags to the bus, let’s go!” grabbing her bags Savannah and Damien watched Hope practically skip out of the gym happily. Laughing as Savannah leaned down to take her bags when she pulled back up to walk with Damien someone ran into her as he turned around to face her,

“Oh snap, sorry” Savannah didn’t get a chance to say anything back as he walked away quickly out the gym doors as she started walking with Damien by her side.

“You ok,” she nodded looking to the ground as he spoke again “how about we get two seats by each other so I can tell you what I need to tell you?” Savannah slowed her pace as they got out in the warm sunny California day light in January. Nodding to him as the buses started to pull up in front of them and getting bags stuffed inside where students were crammed together to get good seats by their friends.

“Let’s go to that bus,” Damien pointed to one of the buses parked in front which every one seemed to be avoiding. They always seemed to choose the last buses as Savannah and her friends choice the complete opposite. No one was on the bus yet as Savannah and him got on sticking their bags up top over their seats in the way back. Damien choice to sit on the end facing the aisle as Savannah choice the window. More people got on the bus in the front now as it was almost time to go, Savannah took her phone from her pocket checking the time. 2:28. Only two minutes till take off, as she stuffed her phone in her pocket again and sat back watching everyone else get on. Their bus never really got too crowded as the bus driver got on sitting in his seat putting the keys in.

“Savannah,” Damien started to say but getting interrupted by one of their counselors calling attention. It was someone’s parent Savannah knew that from the look of him as he started telling them the rules. As the bus started up and moving on the road Savannah suddenly felt Damien tense up, telling he was nervous about something. She looked at him curiously whispering to him,

“Damien, are you ok?” he looked at her and into her eyes as she almost got lost in his again as Damien whispered back,

“I’ll tell you later,” nodding to him as they turned their attention back to the counselor again who was half way through the rules. Suddenly Savannah’s eyelids became heavy as she slowly drifted off into a short sleep.

After what felt like three hours Savannah started to feel a soft hand on her right cheek as she tiredly opened her eyes. Trying to open her eyes all the way realizing her head was resting on Damien’s shoulder. Removing her head from his shoulder as her hand flew up to her forehead,

“How long was I out?” asking as she looked to Damien who just smiled back at her letting out a little chuckle,

“Just about two hours.” Savannah rested against the back of the seat as she closed her eyes again,

“You know you talk in your sleep.” Savannah’s eyes shot open again sitting up and looking straight at him,

“What exactly did I say?” Damien chuckled again as she asked,

“Embarrassing?”

“No, not at all.”

“Then what did you hear me say exactly?”

“Well at first you said my name,”

“That’s it?”

“Was I in your dream?” asking with a funny grin on his face. If Savannah would stop forgetting half her dreams she’d tell him if he was or not. Now that she thought about it Damien has been in a lot of her dreams lately. Damien looked at her waiting for an answer as she replied honestly,

“I don’t really remember my dream,” was she starting to like him now?

“Okay,” Damien looked down suddenly serious like before they got on the bus at the school “Savannah, about what I was meaning to tell you,”

“Sure Damien, what is it?”

“Well, I was actually,”

“First stop! Everyone get off for a restroom break!” the counselor called as the bus rumbled to a stop near a small gift shop and food stands. As Savannah started to get up she heard Damien mumble to himself,

“Every time this happens.”
